John Robert and Sharon Markwood Dealerships
For those of you that requested photos of the dealerships owned by John Robert and Sharon Markwood, here they are. Please let me know if you are intending to use them in a periodical (either online or dead trees). You can click on the images for the high resolution versions.
There are still scant details about this murder suicide, but the WCBC site seems to have the most information: http://www.wcbcradio.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=18227&Itemid=35

For those who missed Mom’s graveside service last Sunday, this is a transcript:
Mom,
We want you to know that we are all fine, though we do miss you.
We also know that you are in a perfect place now, which helps us to deal with the pain of your absence.
You are with God now, and we pray that we will all meet with you there when our time has come.
I bet that there are all sorts of little dogs and other furry animals that keep you company now, and that you are seeing your dear old friends and family that have also passed from this earth.
Here is a prayer for those of us who remain here on earth:
May we all have the faith that took you to the better world,
May we all do the right things while we are on this earth,
So that we can be reunited with you when it is our time.
As your remains are lowered to rest beside your long-departed husband,
May we take comfort in knowing that you are finally with him again.
God grant us the strength to journey through this life with joy, as we know you took so much joy in living during your time here.
May we all learn from your example.
Amen

Ethics, Where Have You Gone? Did You Ever Exist?
An interesting article has been posted on the West Virginia Red blog:
Business as usual in West Virginia, I think.
It’s also business as usual with the Congressional Democrats. The are still trying to pull one over on us. C-SPAN cameras should be allowed to cover the health care debates, but the Democrats know that the bill will be so overwhelmingly expensive that they want to hide it.
Here is Republican Representative Shelley Moore Capito’s take on this scheme:
I have news for all Americans, regardless of political persuasion: the only Americans that won’t be screwed in this deal are members of congress and other federal elected officials. They will still have their own excellent health care plan. They won’t have to live under the ridiculous health care laws that they pass.
